SOLAR FIRE GOLD 7.3 - UPDATES
================================================================================
Listed in Reverse Chronological Order
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Version 7.3.1 - 15 Apr 2010
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* Improved, "auto repair" feature extended to improve processing of some paths
in the SOLFIRE7.INI. These changes now eliminate bad paths and files in the
INI file so the user does not get some spurious results.
* Improved, added more logic when checking the "SavedImagePath" key in the
SOLFIRE7.INI file such that it now not only checks that the folder exists
but also if the computer is Windows Vista (or later) that the folder is not
a "system" folder, such as C:\Windows or C:\Program Files. If it is a
"system" folder for this Windows version then the path is changed to that of
the Solar Fire User Files.
* Improved, extended the detection of the version of the Windows operating
system for reports to include Windows 7 as well as the detection of 64-bit
Windows.
* Improved, on the Help > About screen, the dedication was removed and replaced
with the Windows operating system version details.
* Fixed, various minor issues when a user selects Chart > Open and uses the
Chart Database screen. In some cases, a blank list of charts was being
displayed.
* Fixed, program crashed each time on a Chart > Open if it was a new
installation and no previous version of Solar Fire Gold was installed.
* Fixed, if Solar Fire Gold v7.3 is installed side-by-side with an earlier
version of Solar Fire, the file extension, *.SFcht, was remaining with the
earlier version. If the earlier version was subsequently uninstalled then
the program assignment to this file extension was lost.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Version 7.3.0 - 27 Mar 2010
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* Added, a new "Auto Recover" feature has been added that will allow Solar Fire
to recover if certain common files get deleted. This situation can occur if
you already have Solar Fire Gold v7.0.x installed, upgrade and install Solar
Fire Gold v7.3.0 (or later) and then decide to uninstall the earlier 7.0.x
version. During the uninstall of that earlier version, certain common files
to the two versions are deleted and that situation was causing the Solar
Fire 7.3 to give a major error at the next startup. With this new
"Auto Recover" feature, Solar Fire v7.3.0 (and later) will now
automatically restore the common files that were deleted allowing the
program to automatically get back to normal operation without raising an
error.
* Added, a new "Auto Repair" feature has been added that will now automatically
change/repair any paths found in SOLFIRE7.INI, located in the Settings
folder. This process now runs every time Solar Fire starts up so that it can
now automatically check and repair any Solar Fire User Files or Solar Fire
system paths that are stored as text in the SOLFIRE7.INI file, located in
the Settings folder. This new feature now allows a user, who currently has
Solar Fire v7.0.x installed, to upgrade to and install the new Solar Fire
Gold v7.3.0 version (or a later 7.x version). Once this new version is run,
it now automatically "connects" the Solar Fire User Files to the new version
thus eliminating the need for a user to uninstall their earlier Solar Fire
Gold v7.0.x version. Additionally, if any paths get corrupted during any
Solar Fire Gold session, these paths will be automatically repaired at the
next startup of Solar Fire. Finally, if for some reason, the auto repair
feature is required to be turned off then a new key "BypassINIRepair", that
is now located in the [Solar Fire] section, can be changed from 1 to 2
(after v7.3.0 has been run for the first time) and once this change is
saved, no further checking or repairing of the INI file will take place.
* Improved, if there are updates to the Interpretation files, when the screen
pops up asking a user to check any or all files, when the "Yes" button was
clicked, no further prompt for Copy & Replace now pops up. Previously, even
if you checked the box allowing an update to an Interpretation file, a
further Copy & Replace confirmation screen popped up, which was annoying.
* Improved, relocated the Updates.ini file from the Solar Fire Programs File to
the Solar Fire User Files (SFUF) Settings folder. This move was necessary
because being located in a Windows protected folder,
C:\Program Files\SolarFire73, the file could not be deleted. With the
relocation to the SFUF Settings folder, instead of the Updates.ini file being
deleted after it was processed, it now gets renamed. This strategy counters
the scenario where the original SFUF files
(located in the C:\Program Files\SolarFire73\User Files folder) may copy
files over to the SFUF folders, creating a new Updates.ini file. If the
renamed file is detected then the second Updates.ini file does not get
processed again.
* Improved, an Auto DST checkbox was added to the Animate module allowing a user
to turn off auto DST changes when stepping for some scenarios.
* Improved, when the Signs object is used in a Page design the word Sagittarius
was being chopped off at the end. Increased size of Name column.
* Improved, when the Points-Flexible object is used in a Page design the
Longitude (Secs) & Retro column has been widened so that the Rx symbol does
not overrun the column line if a large font size is used.
* Improved, if there are two charts highlighted on the Calculated Charts list
then these now are carried through to the Chart > Combined feature.
Previously, the last chart highlighted was the only one that carried through
forcing the user to re-select the other chart.
* Fixed, when the Last and Next station zodiacal position of a planet is
calculated, if a sidereal zodiac was selected, an incorrect zodiacal
position was displayed.
* Fixed, Solar Fire v7.2.2 did not create the Solar Fire User folders at startup,
on a new system installation, thus causing file not found errors at startup.
* Fixed, DST updating one day later than expected when stepping in Animate Chart
mode. The Animate module was determining DST based on GMT rather than the
place associated with the chart selected. Additionally, auto DST now applies
to duplicated places found in the ACS atlas and places stored in the personal
atlas associated with the ACS atlas - DST was not previously updating for
these places.
* Fixed, for places above the Arctic Circle (approx. 66.5*), some house systems
that were selected by a user were causing a lockup of the program.
* Fixed, not all aspect lines were showing when the Proportional Houses were OFF.
Also, when the lines were printed, they were not going to a position where
the planet in the outer wheel was located.
* Fixed, the View Chart > Reports > Aspects List were always showing aspects
based on Natal chart orbs. When a BiWheel has transits around the outside,
the Tran orbs are now used where previously the Natal orbs were used for
these charts types.
* Fixed, the Print and Export buttons in the Ephemeris Generator were not enabled
at the end of a good run of this feature.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Version 7.2.0 - 13 Jan 2010
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* New, Sabian Symbols Oracle now added in Solar Fire. It is random and not based on chart data.
* New, Temperaments added in Tabulations
* New, 12 x Chart Art Gem Stones
* New, Sabian Symbol interpretations (Sabian.int) for degrees now added. It is based on degree of the planet in Chart. To view this Interpretation file, select the Sabian.int file from Interps/Interpretation Files/Natal. Then double click on the Degrees in the View Chart Screen.
* Updates, Standard, Progress and Transits interpretation files are updated. The Standard.int file now includes interpretations of Sedna, Eris, Selena (White Moon) and Black Moon Lilith in the Signs and Houses, as well as updated interpretations for the Sun, Moon and other points.---------------------------
Version 7.0.10 - 29 Jul 2009
---------------------------
* Fixed, Error in Dynamic > Transits & Progressive list, Void Of Course Moon
for Yr 1965 and Yr 1989. Error Subscript out of range occur when Moon
stepping into the next sign and if there is No aspects, no events
* Fixed, Error in Dynamic > Animate Page, MultiWheel Chart. Error Subscript
out of range if any page under MultiWheel topics are selected, when
one chart is first highlighted on the "Calculated Charts" list
---------------------------
Version 7.0.9 - 23 Jan 2008
---------------------------
* Added, new asteroid ephemeris files for 2003 EL61 --> Haumea and
2005 FY9 --> Makemake, now using their new assigned names
* Improved, asteroid ephemeris file for Sedna, which updated the Sedna name by
removing the older discovery name next to Sedna
* Improved, asteroid files Centaurs.ast and NewPlan.ast updated for the new
asteroid files and names
* Improved, extended the Dynamic > Real Time Clock feature so that you can now
produce multiple "cloned" real time clock screens, all "ticking over"
together. The first real time clock is the usual one for your location but
after that, this latest change allows you to open more real time clock
screens via Dynamic > Real Time Clock. Each additional real time clock
window "inherits" some details from the currently highlighted chart on the
"Calculated Charts" list, like Place, Country, Timezone, House System, Zodiac
and Coordinates. With this in mind, you can now more easily create a real
time clock screen for different locations, like Sydney, London and New York,
all displaying the local time at those locations with all screens
"ticking over" together. Depending on the chart that is highlighted on the
"Calculated Charts" list, you can create real time clocks for both geocentric
and heliocentric coordinates or use tropical and sidereal zodiacs or even
different house systems, for comparison purposes. This feature is most likely
better suited to computers that have more screen "real estate", that is, a
computer that has more than one monitor attached or where there is already a
large monitor attached to a computer. Having this extra screen space allows
you to position these multiple real time clock screens on any part of the
screen space available to you
* Improved, New Chart Entry, changed the lookup logic such that if a place like
"London, Canada" appears in the recently used file then it automatically
updates the Country, TZ, Lat and Long textboxes as usual but if the user
overwrites the Country textbox, entering say "UK", and tabs or clicks off
it, a new atlas lookup is now done. Previously, tabbing or clicking off the
Country textbox, after having entered another country, put "Canada" back if
you had entered "UK"
* Improved, New Chart Entry, if a user enters a placename into the "Place" textbox
but then clicks on the "OK" button because the user sees that the Country they
want is already showing, a warning message is now displayed and the user taken
back to the Place textbox. This action prevents a possible place lookup
problem where the Timezone, Latitude and Longitude may not have been updated
for the Place just entered thus resulting in an incorrect calculated chart.
This problem can occur because the atlas auto. lookup feature is only triggered
when the user either TABs or clicks off the "Country" textbox
* Improved, Calendar, the phase of the Moon that was displayed/printed was being
shown as it is viewed in the southern hemisphere. Now, if the chart the
calendar is based on is located in the northern hemisphere then the phase of
the moon is displayed/printed as it is viewed in the northern hemisphere
* Improved, Animate, Events button, show Auto apply checkbox as ticked by default
* Improved, Animate BiWheel, when both a natal chart and an event chart are
opened (or entered) and added to the Calculated Charts list and the natal
chart only is highlighted and Dynamic > Animate BiWheel is selected, the
resulting screen displays the natal plus current transits for the natal place.
If you clicked on the "Charts" button and, for the Outer Wheel, selected the
opened event chart displayed in the "Base Charts" list, it loaded the new
chart name and place details but the date and time was not changed causing
the planet positions on the outer wheel to remain the same. Now, the event
chart's date and time are loaded thus causing the outside wheel to update
the planetary positions to the new date and time
* Improved, Animate Wheels, when a user clicks on the "Charts" button, the wheel
that is highlighted is now the outermost wheel instead of the inner wheel.
This change improves the wheel to assign since most changes are to the
outermost wheel, especially for the Animate BiWheel
* Improved, Returns, changed "Precessed" to "Prec. Corr." on the
"Advanced Return Selections" screen
* Improved, Dynamic Events, on the list of dynamic events, if you click on the
"View Chart" button after first clicking on a particular event, a chart would
be displayed and the event chart(s) would be added to the "Calculated Charts"
list. The action of adding the chart(s) to the Calculated Charts list would
also highlight the latest chart added so that back on the Dynamic Events list
if you click on the "New Report" button to run a different report for the
same natal chart, you had to re-highlight the natal chart as the
"Dynamic Radix Chart" because the highlight would now be on the new chart
added and so a new Dynamic report might now be based on the wrong chart. The
latest change now ensures that when you click on the "View Chart" button that
the current selected "Dynamic Radix Chart" remains highlighted even though
new charts are added to the list enabling a user to consistently run new
dynamic reports using the same "Dynamic Radix Chart" and without needing
to re-highlight that chart
* Improved, Half Aspect Grid, change angle display on aspect grid so that it
displays the angle the faster planet is away from the slower planet after
the last conjunction, increasing the angle from 0 to 360
* Updated, ACS atlas, updated the atlas files to the latest version for the new
time zone changes in Australia, Argentina and Sri Lanka
* Updated Built-In Help system documentation adding information on
Toggle Coordinates, Chart Clone, Half Aspect Grid > Grid Settings and multiple
Real Time Clock features
* Fixed, Chinese New Year report, using 20 Jan 2009 the View > Page Topic Index >
General > Chinese Year & Lunar Mansions report was showing the Year of the Ox
instead of changing to the Year of the Ox on the 26 Jan 2009
* Fixed, Electional Search, when two planets conjuncting the Asc were being tested
but one of the planets had a NOT statement, that is, run a report of when one
planet is conjunct the Asc but not the other, incorrect results occurred
* Fixed, Electional Search, if a condition selected was "Not PlanetA Any Aspect
PlanetB", it was found that this condition gave results when it should not
have done so. The "Not PlanetA Any Aspect PlanetB" is now internally converted
to a "PlanetA NoAspect PlanetB" condition and is now processed correctly
* Fixed, Electional Search, if Mercury in Aries AND Coordinates-
Mercury Long. Speed = +0*00' - the results were only for speed = 0. Also,
Sun in 2nd House AND Sun Conj Moon were also giving spurious results
* Fixed, Electional Search, when searching for aspect hits, under certain
conditions the aspect file was not being found and the resulting orb was
returning zero for the search
* Fixed, Electional Search, when the list is sorted into date and time order,
in some cases, the Preview wheel does not match the date and time of the
item highlighted
* Fixed, 90* Dial display, the midpoint trees for the angles (As and Mc) can
now be displayed for a new chart where the Dial was selected previously
(instead of Wheel) for another chart. Previously, a new chart dial did not
display the As and Mc midpoint trees when the pointer was moved with the mouse
* Fixed, Chart Import/Export, in the "Chart Type to Save Into", the file
extension of the ASCII files is *.dat instead of *.txt. The current extension
(*.dat) for ASCII files results in a data file that is like JigSaw v2 and not
like the format of text files, stated in the "Options" tab
* Fixed, Animation, selecting the Age+1 Harmonic chart in a TriWheel displayed a
natal chart instead of the Age+1 Harmonic chart
* Fixed, Planetary Nodes display had a runtime error caused by the Black Moon
Lilith being called. This object is not on the ecliptic and so was deleted
from the Planetary nodes area
* Fixed, Dynamic Events, "Transits to Progs", "Transits to Directions" and
"Directions to Radix" gave wrong results for the "B" (beginning of report)
records of a dynamic report. The first two record types were actually giving
"Transits to Transits" hits and positions while the "Directions to Radix"
record type only gave wrong results if other records types were also selected
in the report, like "Progs to Progs"
* Fixed, Dynamic Events, if Dynamic Transits & Progressions is run, it will run
normally with the selected "Transits:" points file, e.g. "outers". If the
user then runs the Calendar and then switches back to re-display the Dynamic
Transits & Progressions screen again, the "Transits:" points file changed to
the file that was selected in the Calendar, e.g. "sunout"
* Fixed, Dynamic Events, selecting "Parallels of Decl" caused a
"subscript out of range" error
* Fixed, Chart Comments, if using the Copy button to copy charts from one chart
file to another, Chart Comments were not being transferred
* Fixed, Chart Comments, comments not being saved for charts
=========================
SOLAR FIRE GOLD - UPDATES
=========================
Listed in Reverse Chronological Order
---------------------------
Version 7.0.8 - 14 Sep 2008
---------------------------
* Improved, Dignity/Almuten and Arabic Parts Editors, added the extra 14
new planets/points, such as Sedna and Eris to name a few, to the list
of planets and points in the Editors
* Improved, Edit Rulers/Weightings, add the 14 new planets/points, such
as Sedna and Eris to name a few, to the rulership module. The weightings
editor remains unchanged only allowing weight values to be assigned to
planets/points up to the Part of Fortune
* Improved, Cloned charts, now save the position and size of the various
cloned windows, like other windows in Solar Fire, so that they can be
placed in the same position on screen when the clone window is created
in later sessions of Solar Fire
* Improved, Chart Art, improved the positioning of some page objects in
6 x Chart Art files
* Fixed, Chart Comments, when new charts entered, comments were not being
saved in *.SFcht files but were fine for the older *.cht files
* Fixed, Dignity/Almuten Editor, when this Editor selected via the Utilities
menu and either the Solar.alm selected, clicking on Children (Day) then
"6 Selected Points" shows an error in Solar.arp. The problem was that
the *.arp file appears in the new "Almutens & Dignities" folder while the
Arabic Parts file (Solar.arp) appears in the new "Points & Colors" folder
in the located under the "Solar Fire User Files" folder. The correct
path to the Arabic Parts files is now selected
* Fixed, Runtime Error (RTE) "subscript out of bounds" (crash), if charts
entered or opened and added to the Calculated Charts list then all the
charts deleted then a new chart added then a Chart > Chart Search
performed, when the "Search" button was clicked the RTE popped up. This
sequence also occurred if the Dynamic > Electional Search was selected
instead of the "Chart Search" using the same sequence
* Fixed, Dynamic Events, if both Tr-Tr and Sign Ingress are selected, if you
"View Chart" for an aspect event then a single wheel is displayed. If you
"View Chart" for a Sign Ingress event then a BiWheel is displayed, with
the base chart as the inner wheel. The program now displays a single wheel
for a Sign Ingress event when Tr-Tr selected but not when Tr-Na selected.
House Ingress events will contine to display a BiWheel because all House
Ingress events are always with respect to a natal or base chart
* Fixed, Error message - Points file Empty, if a LoginName has a period (.)
in the path then an error occurs when you try to display a BiWheel
* Fixed, Return Chart, if you cast a natal chart then relocate the Solar Return
to Oakville, Canada, where there are two choices, if you select, Oakville,
Ontario, you get a TZ of EDT, however, once you click on the OK button,
while the chart shows the correct Lat/Long, the TZ goes to CDT, the
Manitoba one
* Fixed, Image list tooltip tags, when more than 15 charts are open, the image
list cycles through, dropping of earlier charts, but the image tags seem
to remain the same, putting them out of sync. with the chart names
* Fixed, Chart Clone, the chart being cloned can get out of step with the name
on the Calculated Chart list in some circumstances. Also, if more than 16
charts were opened on the Calculated Charts list, trying to clone these
later charts resulted in a system crash
---------------------------
Version 7.0.7 - 23 Aug 2008
---------------------------
* NOTE: There was no change in the Solar Fire version number because
only the separate Chart Art pages were updated.
* Improved, Chart Art, modified various Chart Art *.PAG files to now
acknowledge the source of the background grpahic by adding a caption
to the bottom left corner of those pages that were contributed. Also,
all descriptions of Chart Art *.PAG files were changed from "Single
Wheel with Art" to "Solar Fire Wheel with Art"
* Fixed, Chart Art, some of the new Chart Art pages could not display or
print the backgrounds when the printer was set for Letter paper size
but were fine on A4 paper sizes
---------------------------
Version 7.0.7 - 19 Aug 2008
---------------------------
* Added, Chart Art, 12 new chart art pages have been designed and included
as standard in Solar Fire
* Added, Wheel Styles, 3 new TriWheel styles have been included, each one
showing aspects between two of the three charts, hence the three wheel
styles. Using the "Pages" button on the View Chart screen, it is easy
to switch between these three charts to see the various aspect
combinations
* Added, Calculated Charts, user can now easily toggle between Geocentric
and Heliocentric mode for a chart either by Chart > Edit > Toggle
Coordinates or right-click on highlighted chart on the
Calculated Charts list > Edit > Toggle Coordinates or use keys Ctrl+K
when viewing Solar Fire's main menu
* Added, Clone Charts, a user can now "clone" a chart highlighted on the
"Calculated Charts" list by either clicking on the Chart > Clone or
pressing on the Ctrl+O keyboard keys. This action creates a copy of
the chart into a preview window allowing you to move it to other parts
of the screen, resize it or make it "Always on top". This feature is
handy when you want to keep a copy of a chart that you are working on
always in view. You can also clone as many charts as are listed on the
"Calculated" Charts list or make multiple clones of the same chart
* Added, Electional Search, when previewing search results, there is now
an option to display a Dial or BiDial instead of a UniWheel or BiWheel
together with all the Dial pointer features. The BiWheel or BiDial is
displayed if the "of Radix Chart" is selected in the search conditions
* Improved, Dynamic Events, removed the Maximum Accuracy OFF menu option
from the Dynamic Transits & Progressions process. This process now runs
as if Maximum Accuracy is always ON. The Maximum Accuracy option now
only applies to the Calendar module such that when Maximum Accuracy is
OFF the calculations and the drawing of the Calendar, particularly the
31-day Calendar, runs faster than when Maximum Accuracy setting is ON
* Impoved, Half Aspect Grid, if you are displaying a half grid in either
the View Chart screen or the Animate screen, you can right-click on the
grid itself and see a new entry on the menu named "Grid Settings".
Clicking on this menu item pops up a screen where a numberof settings
can be changed such that the half aspect grid can now display the angles
between points/planets in all of the cells. There is an option to display
the angles in either Degree/Minutes/Seconds format or Decimal format.
Additionally, you can also select whether you want to see the angles
based on "regular" angles up to 180* or angles up to 360*. For this
purpose, a new page layout has been supplied called "Half Aspect Grid"
located in the "Grids" or "Added Recently" topic
* Improved, Solar Fire Version, now print the full version of the program,
including revision number, on various reports. Previously, only "v7.0"
was being printed
* Fixed, Folders/Files, on computers where the LoginName name of the user
contains a dot (".") or period, or any other folder name contains a dot
or period, some functionality of Solar Fire was giving spurious results,
particularly in areas of opening or editing files. For example, if a
user opened a *.SFcht chart file then a chart's Comments information
would not be seen or a corruption of the Comments might have shown
* Fixed, Chart Files and User Files backup, the backup feature on Windows XP
(and earlier) computers was only creating folders at the destination and
not copying (backing up) all the files, though it was working fine on
Windows Vista computers
* Fixed, Exit, when closing down Solar Fire using Chart > Exit menu item,
the user was not asked whether they wanted to save charts, however,
clicking on the "X" button instead did correctly ask whether a user
wanted to save charts before exiting Solar Fire. Both exit points now
ask whether a user wants to save charts
* Fixed, Electional Search, events now in strict date/time order.
Previously, some "Enters" and "Is Exact" events were not in time order
* Fixed, Electional Search, the Search Location was not automatically
looking up the entered Place in the ACS atlas
* Fixed, Electional Search, the Aspects file selected by the user is now
used for searches, when it is required. Previously, Solar Fire's default
aspect file was being used
* Fixed, Place lookups, if a place not in the ACS atlas is entered in the
Place box then you either press TAB or click on the Country box then
immediately click back to the Place box, because you see an error in
the Place name, the ACS Atlas lookup is invoked and the list goes into
a continuous loop eventually raising an error message
* Fixed, Dynamic Events, when "Natal Solar Rate" was selected for Primary
Mundane, no events were displaying
* Fixed, Dynamic Events, Maximum Accuracy ON, the longitude of Mercury was
sometimes incorrect for hits to other planets in Transits to Transits
* Fixed, Dynamic Events, Maximum Accuracy OFF, fixed various logic
combinations that caused some spurious results for some event hits
* Fixed, Calendar, for July 2008 only, an Overflow error message was
generated if Transits to Transits was selected in the Calendar
Preferences
----------------------------
Version 7.0.6 - 16 June 2008
----------------------------
* Added, Chart Art, added 12 new page designs, the Sun in each
house, for
Solar Returns. The background graphic of each of the pages has a
brief
text interpretation for the Sun in that house
* Added, Chart Art, added 2 new Chart Art designs for Children
* Added, Eris Glyph, set the Eris glyph to the new standard and
added an
option to select the original glyph used in Solar Fire Gold in the
Preferences > Edit Settings > Misc. tab. NOTE: The new font
files will
need to be manually installed as per instructions
on the website
* Fixed, Reports menu, Vulcan (Baker) locking up program when in
View Chart
and the Reports button clicked
* Fixed, Reports menu, Vulcan (Baker) locking up program when
Reports button
clicked and Tabulations selected
* Fixed, Charts menu, if there are no charts on the Calculated
Charts list then
clicking on Chart > Rising/Setting or Chart > Lunar Phase
items caused a
runtime error of the program
* Fixed, Stellarium v0.9.1 giving wrong years. The format of the
date and time
strings changed in this version of Stellarium.
* Fixed, Dynamic Events, OK button was not fully showing on the
Interps screen
for a line entry in Dynamic Events list when it was double-clicked
* Improved, Tabulations, extended the Vedic Dasas layout so that it
displays the
full 120-year set of Dasas/Bhuktis
* Improved, Check for Updates on Web, the Solar Fire program was not
closing in
some circumstances when a patch update was downloaded resulting in
a warning
message being raised requesting the user to close the Solar fire
program so
that the patch update could proceed
---------------------------
Version 7.0.5 - 5 May 2008
---------------------------
* Added, Menus, added fast menu access (Utilities menu) to the Swiss
Ephemeris
files folder
* Added, Interpretations files, in cases where all interpretation
(*.int) files
are relocated to another folder from the standard
"...\Solar Fire User Files\Interpretations" folder, you may now
manually add
a new key "InterpPath=" under the [Solar Fire] section, along with
a folder path
(ending in "\") to the Solfire7.ini file located in
"...\Solar Fire User Files\Settings" folder. This option might be
useful in
situationswhere you want your own master set of interpretation
files in a
different location to the standard Solar Fire Gold interpretation
files.
* Added, Midpoint Interpretations, added new midpoint interpretation
text
and reports
* Added, Chart Art, three more pages were added: Art_PurpleBamboo,
Art_RedCosmos
and Art_StarNavy
* Fixed, Combined Charts, if a Combined chart was created, e.g.
Composite Midpoints,
and then a Solar Return chart was then created for the first name
used in the
Composite chart, the second name used in the Composite chart was
being displayed
as the name of the Solar Return chart on the Calculated Charts list
as well as
the preview wheel
* Fixed, Chart Art pages, the graphic backgrounds on the 14 new
chart art pages
released in the v7.0.4 patch were not displaying when the default
printer was
set for Letter page size
* Fixed, Aspect Grid, runtime error when the new Aries Point
selected in a chart
using the Draconic zodiac
* Fixed, Chart Analysis, "Leading Planet" was incorrect for
Locomotive chart shapes
* Fixed, Interpretations Editor, temporary file creation error on
Vista 64-bit
when Compacting interpretation files
* Fixed, Interpretations Editor, runtime error when clicking on the
Browse
button on the Output File
* Fixed, Interpretations Editor, when the File > Upgrade is run
(to upgrade the
Interpretations file from v2 to v3 file structure extending it for
the new
points/planets like Sedna and Eris as well as for midpoint text)
the first
12 characters of the text for various combinations was being
"chopped off"
* Fixed, Interpretations Editor, now warn user if any of the new
points are
selected, like Sedna and Eris, and the interpretations file has not
been
upgraded to the latest version
* Fixed, Interpretation Text Import, Changes to text made by users
in the
interpretation files were not being copied from earlier versions of
Solar
Fire to Solar Fire Gold when the Utilities > Import Charts and
Settings had
the "Interpretation Files (For advanced users only)" selected
* Fixed, Dynamic Report, when Maximum Accuracy switched off, for
some planet
aspects, the EXL dates were the same date and time
* Fixed, Dynamic Events, when Maximum Accuracy ON and a Dynamic
Events report
run where there is only one aspect selected, i.e. conjunction, and
one transit
planet to one natal planet, the resulting report gave spurious
results
* Fixed, Planet Calculations, Vulcan (Baker calculation only) was
locking up

"drag and drop" the new page from the "Added Recently" topic to any
other topic listed.
