! Solar Maps v3 Updates !
!=======================!

-- 01 Nov 2007 - Created v3.0.13
* Solar Fire v7 - now ensures compatibility with new folder
location for the forthcoming Solar Fire v7.
* Font glyphs for Pluto, Uranus and Capricorn - were
previously fixed, but now automatically adopt the same
settings as Solar Fire, if Solar Fire v5 or later is
installed on the same computer.
* If Swiss Ephem not found, then error message now shows
folder in which it was expected to be found.
* ACS Atlas - Built-in atlas files updated to 20071013 -
Contains updates to New Zealand DST times and others.

-- 19 Mar 2007 - Created v3.0.12
* Relocation - in some random cases choosing "Chart /
Relocate to" failed to relocate it. Now fixed.
* Help file - converted from WinHelp to HTML Help format
to allow it to work on Windows Vista.

-- 12 Feb 2007 - Created v3.0.11
* In Mundo/Zodiacal setting - now remembered between
sessions.
* Map Zoom - Occasional "Overflow" error occured after
zooming in to maximum extent. Now fixed.
* ACS Atlas - updated daylight savings timetables for
Australia and Canada.

-- 27 Nov 2006 - Created v3.0.10
* ACS Atlas - Built-in atlas files updated to data version
2.3 (20060331) - Contains corrections and additions to US
city names and US time tables updated for changes from 2007
onwards.
* ACS Atlas - replaced ACSAtlas.ocx with FindCity.dll. This
eliminates problems arising from faulty versions of
ACSAtlas.OCX which were sometimes installed by software
from other companies.
* ACS Lookup - no longers remembers last country if
cityname only is entered. Instead, blank or invalid country
name now forces a search through all countries/states.
Also, if countryname is USA, then presents a list of US
States in which requested cityname exists.
* Geodetic Zodiac - added Geodetic West option to Chart /
Zodiac menu item (and Shift +F2 shortcut). This allows
quick toggling between all three zodiac types, and there is
no longer any need to use Options / Zodiac menu item unless
you wish to change the geodetic start longitude.
* Track editing - added Place button to allow selection of
a location from the atlas instead of having to manually
enter latitude and longitude.

-- 30 Jun 2005 - Created v3.0.9
* Point selection dialog - replaced "Default" button with
"Save" and "Restore" buttons, and changed "OK" button to
"Apply". Apply button applies current selection, but does
not save it for future sessions. Save button saves current
selection for future sessions. Restore button restores last
saved selection. Special Behaviour - normally, when Solar
Maps has been called from Solar Fire, it uses Solar Fire's
current displayed points. However, clicking on the Save
button now prompts user whether or not Solar Maps should
save its selected points independently of Solar Fire.
Choosing to do so then ensures that Solar Maps always uses
its own set of selected points in future sessions -
independently of Solar Fire. To revert to using Solar
Fire's selected points, hold down the Ctrl key whilst
clicking on the Restore button. This will prompt the user
whether to revert to using Solar Fire's selected points in
future sessions.
* Charts with Whole Sign Houses (and some other less common
house types) caused a subscript out of range error when
viewing the chart wheel. Now fixed.

-- 11 Jan 2005 - Created v3.0.8
* Solar Fire Deluxe compatability - added ability to work
seemlessly with SFv6 chart file format, and to recognise
correctly whether it has been invoked from within Solar
Fire Deluxe or Solar Fire v5.
* Selected points - default point selection is now
independent of Solar Fire when run standalone. If invoked
from within Solar Fire, then still uses Solar Fire's
current point selection.
* Eclispe data - covered smaller range of dates than was
available. Now replaced with full version.

-- 20 Aug 2003 - Created v3.0.7
* When selecting fixed star files with less stars than the
previously selected star file, the originally selected
stars beyond the number of newly selected stars were not
being cleared. Now fixed.
* Report text - if user selected stars from the 'brady.fst'
star file, then the relocation report contained text for
those stars, but did not provide attribution for the
author. An attribution line has now been added.
* "Overflow" error - When zooming in to maximum extent with
many lines displayed, occasional "overflow" error occured.
Now fixed.
* Options / Mouse Mode - changed menu text from "Click for
Relocation Report" to "Click for Interpretations &
Relocation Report".

-- 12 Feb 2003 - Created v3.0.6
* Subsidiary charts - the timezone entered by the user was
being ignored (ie. as if set to +0:00 UT). Now fixed.

-- 21 Jan 2003 - Created v3.0.5
* Geodetic eclipse charts - were being calculated for
reference eclipse hour. Now calculated for exact time of
lunation (longitudinal conjunction of sun and moon)
instead. This could result in small differences in the
position of the moon in the geodetic chart (up to about 1/2
degree).
* Hint text after map zoom - pop-up hint text was being
retained from last zoom map area even after change of mouse
mode. Now fixed.

-- 09 Dec 2002 - Created v3.0.4
* Aspect lines to Angles - Whilst aspect lines to MC/IC
were correct, aspect lines to Asc/Dsc or Rise/Set were not
calculated correctly. This has now been corrected. Aspect
lines to Asc/Dsc now represent where that planet forms the
exact longitudinal aspect to the chart's
ascendant/descendant at that position (ie. planet's
celestial latitude is ignored). When the *in mundo*
optionis selected, the calculation is the same except that
the planet's true celestial latitude is included.
* After changing displayed line selection on screen,
subsequent printout did not reflect changed line selection.
Now fixed.
* Chart Wheel and Local Horizon Wheel - font sizes were
rather small. These sizes have now been increased for
better legibility and aesthetic appeal.
* Help file - several minor corrections made.

-- 28 Nov 2002 - Created v3.0.3
* ACS Atlas embedded - if user has installed SMv3 into non-
SFv5 directory, then when trying to use embedded atlas get
message "Not Installed". Now fixed.
* ACS Atlas radius search - if no places are found within
specified radius, then error 380 occurs. Now fixed.
