Go to Utilities>Import Charts & Settings. Under "Where to import from", choose correct place. Under"What to import", click "All on" button. Under "Import options", choose "Rename and keep existing files". Then click "Import". If this does not work, you can also remove SF Deluxe in Add/Remove, and then install it to the Solar Fire v5 folder (over the older program) using the directions below:
A: first verify the location of your old Solar Fire 5. You can do this by right clicking on the solar fire 5 icon on your desktop and selecting 'properties' on the popup menu. On this properties screen the location will be listed in the box that says 'Start In.' or under Target (C:\drive)
B: Now start the Solar Fire 6 installation. On the screen that says 'Destination Folder' press the 'change' button, in the highlighted location where it says 'Folder Name:' enter the location of your old Solar Fire from step a: [Usually this location will be c:\solfire5 or c:\solfire]
C: Be sure to restart your computer being using the program.
