Valliere’s
Best Days, Best Hours:
A Solunar Almanac
Your essential planning guide for every day and hour

This easy-to-use month-by-month planning guide is based on the constantly changing balance of solar and lunar forces, as evidenced by traditional cycles and modern timing research. Coming from Jim Valliere’s consideration of 18 key astronomical factors plus 34 years of observing the effects of solar-system bodies on human life, it is designed to improve your chances of success in both personal and business affairs. It can also help your life to be more tranquil and stress-free.
You can use Best Days, Best Hours to plan all your crucial events and actions--be they appointments, meetings, phone calls, or get-togethers of family and friends. It can help in everything from truly complex business situations down to the simplest basics like getting the oil changed in your car (without taking three hours of your time!).
If you’re new to astronomical cycles, you can use the suggested Best Times just as you see them. The days and hours marked “Best” are when you’ll want to forge ahead with your projects and carry on your most important interactions with others. These are the times when the solar and lunar forces are in balance, and things are likely to go as planned, without unexpected elements intruding from out of the blue. Rather than being times of record achievements or winning against great odds, these are the times when the trends that are in place are most likely to continue, and when whatever rules or frameworks you’ve set up are most likely to work just as you intended them to. These are also the times when there will be fewer conflicts and disagreements.
The times that aren’t marked “Best” are also essential parts of your life. This is when, where possible, it pays to pause and turn inward. We’ve all had days when we wasted energy with very little to show for it. Despite our best intentions and efforts, we ended up just spinning our wheels. If you know in advance when this is likely to occur, you will know when you are better off conserving your energy. If possible, retreat, relax, and recharge your batteries. If outside circumstances don’t permit this, at least you will be forewarned to make special allowances for possible glitches and setbacks, and you won’t be overly disappointed if things don’t work out quite as planned. Just be patient, and bide your time until a Best Day comes along.
If you are well-versed in cosmic cycles, you, too, can use these simple daily and hourly forecasts. After working for many decades with the daily ebb and flow of all the planets, I have settled on these lunar and solar forces as the strongest and most reliable indicators of all. I suggest that you use Best Days, Best Hours as a baseline on which to add whatever other celestial cycles and symbols you find useful.

Valliere’s Best Days, Best Hours: A Solunar Almanac distills the essentials and adds some new cycles to Valliere’s Natural Cycles Almanac, which Jim Valliere produced for 34 years. It is the summation of many decades of research combining modern cycle studies with the lunar, solar and tidal cycles used in megalithic and ancient calendar systems.
The author, Jim Valliere, has long provided the information gained from these studies to individuals and businesses for making decisions in finance, buying and selling property, and predicting the outcome of sports events. More recently, he has extended this to identify trends in casino gambling. Evaluating the cycles and positions of the Sun and Moon, he aims to provide clear-cut forecasts for every day and hour of the year — information that everyone can use to live a less stressful and more productive life.
This indispensable calendar is only $9.95 and delivered to you by email as a PDF file. To purchase Valliere's Solunar Almanac 2010, click here.
